Fabio Esposito

Fabio Esposito is an entrepreneurial executive with 25+ years of global experience with large and small enterprises. Throughout his career, he brought to market disruptive technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Robotics, Computer Vision, 3D Printing, and AR/VR. 

He is currently CEO at Leia Inc, bringing to market a new 3D technology platform, leveraging advanced display-optics and AI, to provide immersive experiences on any personal device to consumers.  

Additionally, he is Venture Partner at Innovation Industries, a Dutch VC fund investing in industrial, medical and agri-food tech companies.

Prior to Leia Inc, he served as CEO of Luxexcel BV, where he introduced a new 3D printing technology for the manufacturing of AR/VR devices for the Metaverse. While building the business, Mr. Esposito increased valuation more than 20x, architected and completed the sale to Meta Platform [NASDAQ: META] in 2022Subsequently, he led Operations and Integrations at Meta Reality Labs D&O.

Before joining Luxexcel, Mr. Esposito was the CEO of Solidscape Inc, the maker of 3D printers, materials and software for the manufacturing of high precision metal parts.  During his 12-year tenure he delivered a 25% CAGR with EBITDA margins in excess of 30%; played a key role in the sale to Stratasys [NASDAQ: SSYS] in 2011, in the divestiture to Prodways Group [EPA: PWG] in 2018; and, as member of Stratasys Leadership Team, in the merger between Stratasys and Objet in 2012 to create a $3B firm.  

Prior to Solidscape, Mr. Esposito was the Vice President of Parsytec Inc, the American subsidiary of ISRA Vision AG [FSE: ISR], a global supplier of machine vision systems and optical robots, for quality management and process automation. Before moving to Chicago, IL to lead the business in the Americas and introduce a new decision support system, he set up and developed the business in Southern Europe. 

Mr. Esposito began his career as a Management Consultant with Consorzio CONICA in Italy, a consortium of high-tech companies providing technology consulting services to SMB’s. 

Fluent in Italian and English, Mr. Esposito holds a BS/MS degree in Electronic Engineering from Federico II University of Napoli, Italy, and Executive Education from Harvard Business School.  He resides between the US and the Netherlands.
